I enjoyed being forced to do art that was in the realm of something I wasn´t used to. Making a film gives you a lot of creative power, however this made it very challenging. Your final piece truly reflected the amount of work you put into it. There were so many combinations and effects to think about while editing. The one minute time frame was perfect because it made our videos seem like a commercial or prelude to something bigger: it was short but sweet.
My film's concept was based on capturing the small moments and gestures we do as humans in order to remember someone (a touch of an elbow, a stare of fascination, or moving one inch closer to smell a scent that lingers with you). These are the things that enable one to reconstruct or in other words, remember, someone special to you. While looking through photos and hearing what people have to say about my father, it seems everyone remembers him by their own intimate moments with him.
This project has made me realize that I can learn to recreate my father by carefully observing these unnoticed gestures everyone does to remember.

This is my main question that I am asking myself about my project
