This self-portrait assignment I saved for last because I had no clue where to even begin. I guess its because I have never really thought of what "friendship" is and how I can relate to it. In a way, I think I take my friends for granted and don't realize how beautiful it is to be surrounded by people that love me for who I am. Looking through my photos from this summer I began to see the habits and trends I have created with my friends over the years.In order to not make this biased, I chose pictures I shot in the summer before I knew about this assignment.
My conclusion is still open ended. I am not sure which way I want to approach this theme of My East Village friends.
